“The Lord is on my side and takes my part, He is among those who help me; therefore shall I see my desire established upon those who hate me.” – Psalm 118:7
Fear not for God is with us. He is our Strength and Song; and He has become our Salvation. If God is for us, who can be against us? Blessed be Jehovah, who gave us not up a prey to the enemies teeth. Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped. We will not die; instead, we will live and proclaim what the Lord has done.
The Lord is our Shepherd; we shall not want. (Psalms 23:1) Yea, though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil: for thou art with us; thy rod and thy staff they comfort us. God will make us to lie down in green pastures: He will lead us beside the still waters and restores our souls. God’s mercy and loving-kindness endure forever.
God will not allow your foot to slip or to be moved; He Who keeps you will not slumber. The Lord said behold “I give unto you power over all the powers of the enemies – and nothing shall by any means hurt you. The power God gives unto us is power to overcome the works of the enemy. It is better to trust and take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust and take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in princes. Our help comes from the Lord. Our souls shall dwell at ease; and our seed shall inherit the earth.
Unto thee, O Lord, do we lift up our souls. O our God, we trust in thee: let us not be ashamed, let not our enemies triumph over us. Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause. O Lord, keep our souls, and deliver us: let us not be ashamed; for we put our trust in You. Thank You Lord for being on our side to safe us from all evil. Hallelujah!
