SEE OUR NEED FOR GOD

SEE OUR NEED FOR GOD

“Acquaint now yourself with Him [agree with God and show yourself to be conformed to His will] and be at peace; by that [you shall prosper and great] good shall come to you. Receive, I pray you, the law and instruction from His mouth and lay up His words in your heart. [Ps. 119:11.] If you return to the Almighty [and submit and humble yourself before Him], you will be built up; if you put away unrighteousness far from your tents, If you lay gold in the dust, and the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brook [considering them of little worth], And make the Almighty your gold and [the Lord] your precious silver treasure, Then you will have delight in the Almighty, and you will lift up your face to God. You will make your prayer to Him, and He will hear you, and you will pay your vows.” – Job 22:21‭-‬27

It is good for us to draw near to God; put your trust in the Lord God and make Him your refuge, that you may tell of all His works. Seek the Lord and His strength; yearn for and seek His face and to be in His presence continually! Our help comes from the Lord. The one who made the heaven and the earth. He takes care of us, so that we do not fall. The one who keeps us safe will does not sleep. Yes! The Lord keeps His people safe. He never gets tired or sleeps at all! The Lord is the one who keeps us safe. He is very near to us. He gives us shade from the hot sun. The hot sun will not hurt us in the daytime.

God saves us from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He covers us with His feathers, and under His wings we will find refuge; His faithfulness is our shield and rampart. The Lord is the one who takes care of us in all danger. He keeps our life’s safe. Whatever you do and wherever you go, the Lord will always keep you safe, now and for ever. Dwell in God, and He will dwell in you. [Live in Him, and He will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in God. He is the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Him and He in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.

Let God rule in your life. Then you will be able to live in a way that the Lord wants you to live. Since God loves us, He is able to give us more than we need. We will always have every good thing that we need for yourselves. We need God so much! We must look for Him, as a thirsty deer looks for streams of water. God lives for ever, and we need life from Him. Seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. God loves us, get to know Him well. And let Him be your guide all the way.  Remain Blessed!
