FEAR NO EVIL GOD IS WITH YOU

“Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.” – Psalm 23:4

THE Lord is your Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield you], you shall not lack. God will make you lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He will lead you beside the still and restful waters. God will refresh and restore your life (your self); He will lead you in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him–not for you earning it, but] for His name’s sake.

Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Your help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip or to be moved; He Who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand [the side not carrying a shield]. The sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.

Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; He’s the one who will keep you on track. God is your place of safety and protection. Trust Him to save you from all hidden traps and from deadly diseases. He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you can hide. His truth will be your shield and protection. You will not fear any danger by night or an arrow during the day. God is with you!

Child of God, do not forget His teaching, but keep His commands in mind. Faith comes from hearing the Good News, God Himself is the protector of our souls and watchman of our spirits. Do not fear, God is a shield to you.
Be careful, not to allow fear to overtake you. Only believe that your God is far more than able to keep you safe. Goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow you all the days of your life, let the presence of the Lord be your dwelling place. Those who go to God Most High for safety will be protected by the Almighty. Have a joyous weekend!
