MULTIPLY YOUR FAITH AND DON’T BE BURIED IN FEAR

“I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand and say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid; I will help you.” –
Isaiah 41:13

Faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see. Don’t be afraid, because I am with you. Don’t be intimidated; I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will support you with my victorious right hand. No fear exists where God’s love is. Rather, perfect love gets rid of fear, because fear involves punishment. The person who lives in fear doesn’t have perfect love. God has not given us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]. The Lord is on your side. Be not afraid. He has control over every situation.

A person’s fear sets a trap ⌞for him⌟, but one who trusts the Lord is safe. The Lord is our light and our salvation. Who is there to fear? The Lord is your life’s fortress. Who is there to be afraid of? Be strong and courageous. Don’t tremble! Don’t be afraid, The Lord your God is is with you. He won’t abandon you or leave you.
Putting your faith in God is the way forward. Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.

You haven’t received the spirit of slaves that leads you into fear again. Instead, you have received the spirit of God’s adopted children by which we call out, “Abba! Father!”
(Romans 8:15) When you go through the sea, I am with you. When you go through rivers, they will not sweep you away. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned, and the flames will not harm you. God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble. The Lord is our confidence. He will keep your foot from getting caught.

Jesus said to him, “As far as possibilities go, everything is possible for the person who believes.” (Mark 9:23) No one can please God without faith. Whoever goes to God must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who seek Him. We must focus on Jesus, the source and goal of our faith. Have faith that you have already received whatever you pray for, and it will be yours. If you have faith and do not doubt, you will be able to do what I did to the fig tree. You could also say to this mountain, ‘Be uprooted and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.

Faith enabled Enoch to be taken instead of dying. No one could find him, because God had taken him. Scripture states that before Enoch was taken, God was pleased with him. Do not doubt God’s promise out of a lack of faith. Have faith that you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. These three things remain: faith, hope, and love. But the best one of these is love. Our lives are guided by faith, not by sight. Take the Christian faith as your shield. With it you can put out all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Shalom!
