JESUS CHRIST STILL HEALS AND DELIVERS TODAY

“When evening came, they brought to Jesus many who were demon-possessed. He drove out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick, so that what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled: He himself took our weaknesses and carried our diseases.” – Matthew 8:16‭-‬17

Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits– Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases, Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy; Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]! He personally bore our sins in His [own] body on the tree [as on an altar and offered Himself on it], that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed. Cry to Jesus and He will heal you.

Are you waiting for Jesus to heal you? Take hope from Jesus’ response to the blind men (Matthew 20:29-34): “Have mercy on us, O Lord,” they cried. Jesus stopped dead in His tracks. Something caught His attention: a prayer, an unembellished appeal for help. Jesus heard the words and stopped. He still does. And He still asks, “What do you want Me to do for you?” Friend, what in your life needs healing? Jesus’ heart went out to the blind men. He “had compassion and touched their eyes.” He healed them. He will heal you, child of God. I pray He heals you instantly. He may choose to heal you gradually. But this much is sure: Jesus will heal us all ultimately, and God’s children will once again be whole. Jesus heals us all.

At the setting of the sun [indicating the end of the Sabbath], all those who had any [who were] sick with various diseases brought them to Him, and He laid His hands upon every one of them and cured them. God has sent forth His word and healed us and rescued us from the pit and destruction. Come, cry to the Lord in your trouble, and He will deliver you out of your distress. Miracles are happening! “She had heard the reports concerning Jesus, and she came up behind Him in the throng and touched His garment, For she kept saying, If I only touch His garments, I shall be restored to health. And immediately her flow of blood was dried up at the source, and [suddenly] she felt in her body that she was healed of her [distressing] ailment.” (Mark 5:27‭-‬29) Though our bodies don’t feel well, God still rules over our circumstances and Jesus still has the power and authority to heal us, not to mention His willingness and ability to do so. Though our bodies don’t feel well, God still rules over our circumstances and Jesus still has the power and authority to heal us, not to mention His willingness and ability to do so.

Stand on the promises of God for your own life and all those you love. Your healing has long been provided in Jesus Christ, you can be healed, delivered from the arrow of sickness fired into your body and be made completely whole – body, mind and spirit. Don’t be discouraged, ask God for grace and mercy in your time of need. Approach Jesus with faith and expectancy, believing that He still heals the sick, sets us free, and exercises dominion over our physical bodies. You can ne healed, don’t lose faith. Healing rain is falling on you, receive your healing in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen
