“Be not afraid of sudden terror and panic, nor of the stormy blast or the storm and ruin of the wicked when it comes [for you will be guiltless], For the Lord shall be your confidence, firm and strong, and shall keep your foot from being caught [in a trap or some hidden danger].” –
Proverbs 3:25-26
God is with you always. Fear not [there is nothing to fear], do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice. In God put your trust and confident reliance; be not afraid. What can man do to you? God will deliver your life from death, yes, and your feet from falling, that you may walk before God in the light of life and of the living.
The life span of your life you shall fulfill.
Sing praises to the Lord, for He has done excellent things [gloriously]; let this be made known to all the earth. Fear not; stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today and beyond. No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord.
From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind. His eye is on you. For your ways are in full view of the Lord, and He examines all your paths. He will not allow your foot to slip or to be moved; He Who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand [the side not carrying a shield]. The sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life.
The eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him.
God will keep you safe from all hidden dangers and from all deadly diseases. Make the Lord your defender, the Most High your protector, so no disaster will strike you, no violence will come near your home. God will put His angels in charge of you to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands to keep you from hurting your feet on the stones.
Praise God, for His promises are true! He is our Refuge and our Fortress, our God; on Him we lean and rely, and in Him we [confidently] trust! He will deliver us from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. Glory, Hallelujah!
