THIS WORLD COMES WITH TESTS AND CHALLENGES

“Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.” –
James 1:2‭-‬4

All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before we know it, He brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of His healing comfort—we get a full measure of that, too.
In every test, challenge or difficulty of life that we may face, we have an Anchor that keeps us secured when we need it most.

Anyone who meets a testing challenge head-on and manages to stick it out is mighty fortunate. For such persons loyally in love with God, the reward is life and more life.
The Lord will never forget the promises He has made to you, for they are our hope and confidence. In all of our affliction we will find great comfort in His promises, for they keep us alive! No matter how bitterly the proud mockers speak against you, refuse to budge from your precepts. God’s revelation-light is eternal; Be encouraged every time you think about God’s truth!

There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!
Trust in His power and follow Him through it. He is our Deliverer out of any situation. Do not go back from the commandment of God’s lips; esteem and treasure the words of His mouth more than your necessary food. Go forward God is there to help. Live by faith, not by sight. In Jesus name, Amen
