JESUS CHRIST KNELT DOWN AND PRAYED

“And He withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and knelt down and prayed, saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup [of divine wrath] from Me; yet not My will, but [always] Yours be done.” Now an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. And being in agony [deeply distressed and anguished; almost to the point of death], He prayed more intently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down on the ground.” –

Luke 22:41‭-‬44

Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation].

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]!” For He will save you from the trap of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence. Praise God Jesus knew what to do at a time He knew Scripture which is written must be completed and fulfilled in Him: ‘And He was counted with the criminals’; for that which referred to Him has its fulfillment [and is settled].”

When Jesus Christ arrived at the place [called Gethsemane], He ceased the opportunity to come before God in prayer, presenting His case and right away any angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. What can’t God do?

“Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God.” (Philippians 4:6) Trust God enough to pray continually until He sends you help from above.

Let nothing in life weigh you down. God is great and powerful to attend to your needs. Call Him and He shall answer you, Seek the LORD while He may be found; “ Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives, and he who keeps on seeking finds, and to him who keeps on knocking, it will be opened.

As you decide to call on God concerning that challenge, move away from every distraction, cease the moment and by faith make your request known to Him.

Make your life a prayer. Humble yourself in prayer and God will make a way for you. Glory!
