O GIVE thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever! The Lord is on our side and takes our part, He is among those who help us; therefore shall we see our desire established upon those who hate us. It is better to trust and take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust and take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.
Serve the Lord with reverent awe and worshipful fear; rejoice and be in high spirits with trembling [lest you displease Him]. (Psalm 2:11)
The [reverent] fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the ordinances of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, even than much fine gold; they are sweeter also than honey and drippings from the honeycomb.
O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him.
It is good for us to draw near to God and put our trust in the Lord God and make Him our refuge, that we may tell of all His works.The Lord is high above all nations, and His glory above the heavens! God reigns, He is clothed with majesty; the Lord is robed, He has girded Himself with strength and power; the world also is established, that it cannot be moved.
It is a good and delightful thing to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises [with musical accompaniment] to His name, O Lord God.
Praise the Lord our God! Worship Him on His holy hill, because the Lord our God is holy! Nobody else is holy like the Lord. There is no other God except Him. He is the only powerful God. He is our Help and our Shield. The Lord is good, so praise Him! His name is good and great, so praise Him with songs!
