“Everything has its own time, and there is a specific time for every activity under heaven: a time to tear apart and a time to sew together, a time to keep quiet and a time to speak out,” – Ecclesiastes 3:1, 7
God the Father is the giver of all good things and is looking for every opportunity to tell us what we need to know, so we can progress in life. But that can not happen unless there is some stillness
and we are ready to listen to His voice. We often hear the Lord speaks through His word and the Holy Spirit but don’t really listen. God has something to say today:
Be silent, all flesh, before the Lord, for He has roused Himself from His holy dwelling. Open your ears, and hear the words of the Lord, and set your mind on the words He gives you.
In the quiet in the stillness, God speaks. He does not keep silent, the Lord God is near: Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; He will tell you great and mysterious things that you do not know.
God wants to make the truth known to you, I urge you to surrender and listen to Him in silence. He will work in you to fulfill His purposes for you. And His peace will rule your heart every day of your life, in Jesus name.
“Master, speak, thy servant heareth
Waiting for thy gracious word
Longing for Thy voice that cheereth
Master, let it now be heard
I am listening, Lord, for Thee
What hast Thou to say to me
Speak to me by name, O Master”
If we can take some time away from busyness, calm down and truly listen, God will get through to us with what will make our lives better. May we hear what God is saying. God’s redeemed can not be stucked where we are. It is time to move forward. Spend more time waiting to hear what God is saying. His voice and leading will break all barriers and cause supernatural changes.
“Speak to me by name, O Master
Let me not unheard depart
Master, speak, for O Thou knowest
All the yearning of my heart
Knowest all its truest need
Speak and make me blest in-deed”
Beloved, let us stay calm and truly listen with all that is in us. In Jesus name, Amen
