THE LOVE OF GOD

“In this the love of God was made manifest (displayed) where we are concerned: in that God sent His Son, the only begotten or unique [Son], into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins. Beloved, if God loved us so [very much], we also ought to love one another.” – 1 John 4:9‭-‬11

God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us. Look with wonder at the depth of the Father’s marvelous love that He has lavished on us! He has called us and made us His very own beloved children. God has loved us with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness has He drawn us and continued His faithfulness to us.

Jesus’s sacrificial love for us is to empower us, His followers to love God and others. “The most important of all the commandments is this: ‘The Lord Yahweh, our God, is one!’ You are to love the Lord Yahweh, your God, with every passion of your heart, with all the energy of your being, with every thought that is within you, and with all your strength. This is the great and supreme commandment.  And the second is this: ‘You must love your neighbor in the same way you love yourself.’ You will never find a greater commandment than these.”

(Mark 12:29‭-‬31)

God sent His Son, the only begotten or unique [Son], into the world so that we might live through Him. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. Who could ever separate us from the endless love of God’s Anointed One? Absolutely no one!

Live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate you from God’s love. Be convinced that His love has triumphed over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken His love.

God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in Him. Love God, let no power that could ever be found in the universe distance you from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One! In Jesus’s name, Amen
