TO HIM WHO HAS NO MIGHT GOD INCREASES STRENGTH

“God gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound]. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and [selected] young men shall feebly stumble and fall exhausted;” – Isaiah 40:29- 30

The Lord is our [unyielding] Strength, and He is the Stronghold of salvation to [us] His anointed. Those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. The Lord is our Strength and our [impenetrable] Shield; our hearts should trust in, rely on, and confidently lean on Him, and were will be helped; so that our hearts will greatly rejoice, and with our song praise Him.

God is the Rock and firm Strength of our hearts and our Portion forever. Seek the Lord and His strength; yearn for and seek His face and to be in His presence continually! [Earnestly] remember the marvelous deeds which He has done, His miracles, and the judgments He uttered [as in Egypt], Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice.

Love God fervently and devotedly, O Lord, our Strength. He is our Refuge and Strength [mighty and impenetrable to temptation], a very present and well-proved help in trouble.

Because of His strength wait upon Him: for God is your defence. They go from strength to strength [increasing in victorious power]; each of them appears before God in Zion.

We can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. Lord, we ask that You strengthen us according to Your word. In Jesus’s name, Amen
