“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].”- Psalms 91:1
In the presence of the Lord, He covers us with His pinions, and under His wings shall we trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler. For He will rescue us from every trap and protect us from the attacks of our enemies. We shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day, The Lord is our Shepherd, we lack nothing.
If we make the Lord our refuge, if we make the Most High our shelter, no evil will conquer us; no plague will come near our home. For He will order His angels to protect us wherever we go. They will hold us up with their hands so we won’t even hurt our foot on a stone. We are safe in God’s presence. Feeling safe is something we all desire. The Lord rescues those who love Him. He protects those who trust in His name.
Take a moment several times a day and think of the promises of God to you. He is not a man, so He does not lie. He is not human, so He does not change His mind. Has He ever spoken and failed to act? Has He ever promised and not carried it through? The Lord is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So we can say with confidence, The Lord is our helper, we will have no fear. God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”
Be assured, that your God will always be with you wherever you go. He’s our Protector: Ponder over this thought for a few moments and let it comfort you. Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever. Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others He has redeemed you from your enemies. Sing to Him; yes, sing His praises. Hallelujah!
