“And try to learn [in your experience] what is pleasing to the Lord [let your lives be constant proofs of what is most acceptable to Him].” –
Ephesians 5:10
This is what the LORD says: “Stand at the crossroads and consider your path; ask for the ancient, reliable paths, ask where the path is that leads to blessing and follow it. If you do, you will find rest for your souls. The backslider will be paid back from his own ways, but one that learns to please God, will be rewarded for his choice.
There’s a way of life that looks harmless enough; look again—it leads straight to hell. Sure, those people appear to be having a good time, but all that laughter will end in heartbreak. God created us for His glory.
Pause to reflect on your life, have you been pleasing God enough? It’s time to put things in order. We have to live to please God and nobody else. He has done a lot for us.
Lord, thank you for Your great love. A wise person pays attention to correction that will improve his life.
Let us not stopped praying for each other. Continually ask God to fill us with the knowledge of His will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that we may live a life worthy of the Lord and please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, in Jesus’s name, Amen
