WHAT A PERSON PLANTS

“Don’t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others—ignoring God!—harvests a crop of weeds. All he’ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life.” – Galatians 6:7‭-‬8

God, Your word is very pure (tried and well refined); therefore we desire for it. The entrance and unfolding of Your words give light; their unfolding gives understanding (discernment and comprehension) to the simple. We open our mouth and pant [with eager desire], for we long for Your commandments. Establish our steps and direct them by [means of] Your word; let not any iniquity have dominion over us.

The LORD by wisdom founded the earth, By understanding He established the heavens. By His knowledge the deeps were broken up And the skies drip with dew. Truth be told, not a creature exists that is concealed from God’s sight, but all things are open and exposed, naked and defenseless to the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Embracing the truth, releases true freedom into our lives. Don’t ignore God’s word, hide it in your heart and abide by it. No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. Cry with your whole heart; ask the Lord; to help you keep His statutes, so you
will respond to God, letting His Spirit do the growth work in you, honoring Him daily. In Jesus’s name, Amen
