“We have shared together the blessings of God.” – Philippians 1:7
All through the year, we have held on to God for dear life, He has gotten us out of so many challenges. He has given us the best of care, answered our prayer, been at our side in challenging moments. God has never turned His back on us. Right in the face of any storm, He hushes the storm to a calm and to a gentle whisper, so that the waves of the sea are still.
“Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?” ( Exodus 15:11)
Oh, thank God —He’s so good! His love never runs out. All of you set free by God , tell the world! Tell how He freed you from oppression, Then rounded you up from all over the place, from the four winds, from the seven seas. Exalt God in the congregation of the people and praise Him in the company of the elders. He turns rivers into a wilderness, water springs into a thirsty ground. The Lord gives grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.
Give God a special place in your life. Never would have made it thus far, had it not been for God alone. Remember God’s goodness, and joyfully offer your life to Him as a living sacrifice, pure and pleasing. That’s the most great way to serve God. The LORD has done amazing things for us! What joy!
