Glory to God! God is the One who can make us strong in faith by the Good News that we hear and by the message about Jesus Christ. The message about Christ is the secret truth that was hidden for long ages past, but is now made known. It has been made clear through the writings of the prophets. And by the command of the eternal God it is made known to all nations, us that we might believe and obey.
May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, grant us a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, By having the eyes of our hearts flooded with light, so that we can know and understand the hope to which He has called us, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones), And [so that we can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength.
God’s people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, forgetting the word of our God will not make our ways prosperous.
Long ago God said to Joshua: “I promised the ancestors of Israel that I would give this land to their descendants. So be strong and brave! Be careful to do everything my servant Moses taught you. Never stop reading The Book of the Law he gave you. Day and night you must think about what it says. If you obey it completely, you and Israel will be able to take this land.” – Joshua 1:6-8
Praise God forever and ever! We will inherit our possessions in Him if we keep His Word in our hearts in Jesus name, Amen
