BEWARE OF JEROBOAM

“Jeroboam then built up the city of Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim, and it became his capital. Later he went and built up the town of Peniel. Jeroboam thought to himself, “Unless I am careful, the kingdom will return to the dynasty of David. When these people go to Jerusalem to offer sacrifices at the Temple of the Lord , they will again give their allegiance to King Rehoboam of Judah. They will kill me and make him their king instead.” So on the advice of his counselors, the king made two gold calves. He said to the people, “It is too much trouble for you to worship in Jerusalem. Look, Israel, these are the gods who brought you out of Egypt!” He placed these calf idols in Bethel and in Dan—at either end of his kingdom. But this became a great sin, for the people worshiped the idols, traveling as far north as Dan to worship the one there.” –

1 Kings 12:25‭-‬30

Satan’s primary aim is to cause people to turn away from God. But before he uses anyone to misinform us to discredit God for all the mighty things He has done, let’s take it upon ourselves to get to know God accurately by the help of the Holy Spirit.
“[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]”

(Philippians 3:10)

Our ultimate need should be studying God’s Word to know Him very well, to know Him deeply, to know Him truly, as He is revealed in His Word. Wrong teachings about God will make us commit a great sin. By the fruits of the misleading agents of Satan, you will fully recognize them. So, let us know (recognize, be acquainted with, and understand) God; let us be zealous to know the Lord [to appreciate, give heed to, and cherish Him]. His going forth is prepared and certain as the dawn, and He will come to us as the [heavy] rain, as the latter rain that waters the earth.

Heavenly Father enable me to know You deeper before am misled in Jesus name, Amen
