“But as for me, God’s presence is my good. I have made the Lord God my refuge, so I can tell about all He does.” –
Psalms 73:28
We can not wish for God’s presence, if we do not intentionally make room for Him. We are God’s chosen people. We are the King’s priests. We are a holy nation. We are a nation that belongs to God alone. He will forever want to be with us. God chose us to tell about the wonderful things He has done. We can not do that without His presence with us. He called us out of darkness into His everlasting wonderful light. God will not leave us. We must keep connected with Him in true fellowship.
Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, who turns the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a spring of water.
“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.” –
Psalms 100:4
God’s presence changes a man’s life.
The people told David, “The Lord has blessed the family of Obed-Edom. And all his things are blessed. This is because the Ark of the Covenant of God is there.” So David went and brought it up from Obed-Edom’s house to Jerusalem with joy. (2 Samuel 6:12) You do not need a physical Ark in your house before you can experience God’s presence. We can invite God’s presence into our lives: through our fellowship with Him. Stay in tune, prepare your heart to offer sacrifices of praise and worship unto your God daily.
You want your testimony to go like this : God is with me, not God is everywhere. The Almighty God is Omnipresent, our lives become blessed when we draw near to Him and not relate to God from a distance.
“The Ark of the Covenant of the Lord stayed in Obed-Edom’s house for three months. And the Lord blessed Obed-Edom and all his family.” -2 Samuel 6:11
Obed- Edom, ceased the opportunity to avail himself and his house for the Ark of God. Obed- Edom, gave his all. Are you willing to do the same thing that he did, withholding nothing from God? If for some known or unknown reason you feel like losing or have lost God’s presence, don’t stress yourself. Choose to “Worship the LORD in all His holy splendor. Let all the earth tremble before Him.” And the LORD will personally envelope you with His presence. All negative life situations will give way to God’s presence.
Dwell in the secret place of the Most High, lifting your voice to worship Him.
