“God knows how to rescue the godly from evil trials.” – 2 Peter 2:9a
As you go through this day, the Lord will be your Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield you], you shall not lack. ( Psalm 23:1 )
Only God’s goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow you all the days of your life, and through the length of your days, may the house of the Lord [and His presence] be your dwelling place.
God delights in every detail of your life, He will direct your steps and “You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday. ” – Psalm 91:5-6
Make God your refuge, the Most High your dwelling place and He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service]. May the reality of God’s protection be your experience as you obey Him daily.
Heavenly Father, protect me as the pupil of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings in Jesus name, Amen (Psalm 17:8 )
